The Buzz for Dori is expanding and Amelia and Adam find themselves in Maui for a conference, when they release that although there are the ones who invented Dori, there are some out there trying to rip off their idea. At the same time, Patty and Lisa are in Hawaii for Patty's sister's wedding. Although Patty's happy for Shandi and Chad, she cant get him out of her head, and the fact that he's seriously leading her on isn't helping one bit.




The Beautiful Code was cool, as with the other two, the story goes by very quickly. The characters are quirky and fun, and i love them all for different reasons. I like where the story's going, and its more suspenseful then one would expect. I haven't read many books about businesses, but these novels are really fun. I wish I was as crazy talented as Amelia is!


The only thing I didn't like is that often in the book, something suspenseful would happen, then it would go to a new chapter and switch points of view, and then when it would switch back, the conflict would be resolved (for the most part) and I felt that it lost the "omg what is happening/what are they going to do" factor that i love so much. 


None the less i still enjoy the episodes, and the story fast paced, and its easy to hang on to every word.

as the start up of Adam and Amelia's company progresses, things are getting even more exciting (and dangerous). An old enemy of the Dorii starts to blackmail them, and a powerful and grudge holding investor has it out for Amelia, wanting nothing more then to destroy her company and crush her hopes. Through out all this Amelia gets a crush on a sexy co-worker, and Adam cannot figure out why his gorgeous girl friend Lisa, insists they keep their relationship on the DL. get ready for a crazy ride....

AHHH! Not again! I've been reading so many wonderful books lately, and this one just adds to the list. I literaly read it in like 2 hours, and totally ignored my entire family for the duration. Just as good as the first, Or maybe even better, I was not disappointed. Not one bit. the plot was totally all over the place, and i was completely caught up. and the cliff hanger ending was like extreme! the only bad thing about ebooks is that you don't really know when the books ending and when I got to that last page I was like *gasp* and then I tried to flip the virtual page, and was like "Noooo!" Lolz I am biting my nails waiting for this next one to come out. thank godness I only have to wait a month. Are more people doing that these days? or is Hayes just being super cool and innovative, by not letting her audience forget everything that happened in the entire year between books. I totally approve. The novels are Hilarious, sweet, scandalous, and super awesome, I find myself smiling from ear to ear the entire time! I hope Hayes keeps up with the series, because I am not done with these characters, not anytime soon :D

Adam and Amelia Dori are finally making it. Their putting behind their foster care filled childhood of moving from place to place, and starting anew at no other then Stanford University. (on scholarship of course) When Amanda hacks into a billion dollar company, and accidentally finds that they are illegally GPS tracking people through a small chip in the back of all Iphones, she gets thrust into a world of lies, money, and power, and the biggest struggle of all, finding a way to stay true to herself through out it all.

The start up is particularly awesome if I must say so myself. Adam and Amelia were my type of people, and Amelia is super smart! The novel was light and funny, and carefree. Yet it still reminded us of the sinister ways of society. It was terrifically well written, and extremely witty, I practically smiled through the whole thing! The plot line was cool also, although I think that Amelia was a little to smart, and could do extremely difficult things a teeny bit to easily. However that's not necessarily bad... and it adds to her character. I do wish that we learned a little bit more about Adam, the other Dorii. What does he like to do, what are his big plans? (other then getting money of course...)  I also think its short, I was so enthralled that I wanted more right then. The cool thing is though that the start up, "episodes" as Hayes calls them come out once a month, so you don't have to wait yearly to read about what comes next. Luckily I also have the next installation in the start up series The Anti-Social Network (out now!), which I can start reading pronto (Eeee!)  so have a go, and try the start up now! you wont be disappointed. :D
