This weeks book hop question,
"can you read books of a series out of order?"
no. never. not if they're supposed to be read in order. the only think that is okay is if they're loosely related like Graceling and Fire, I did read those in order, but if I read them our of order that would be fine too. however if someone made me read .like, Harry Potter out of order, I would never be able to do it.
last and by far not the least, is this weeks weekly geeks,
Q-"do you have a specific time that you read?"
A- Not really. I read here and there. In the morning before I go to school, and right before I go to bed are the biggest times, but I also read in school a lot, in the car (when I'm not driving...) or on lazy Saturdays (like today...) I don't usually get interrupted by my parents or siblings, and if they do i just ignore them until I get to a break in the book. Then I go see whats up, and I don't really like to read here and there but I do.
xo, Dana
P.S. Sorry my reviews are getting a bit slower. That's cause most are ARCs, which I can't publish until a few days before the book comes out, but I've been reading I am J by Cris beam, and The exile of Sara Stevenson by Darci Hannah. I'm almost done with Darci's, promise I'll finish, and post by Friday.
Hopping by to visit and follow! Love your Borges quote above. :-) Good point about the "companion novels" or loose sequels and prequels like Fire and Graceling--those wouldnt' be spoiled by reading them in whichever order they came to you.
