"Remember when you tried to convince me to feed a poultry pie to the Mallards int the park to see if you could breed a race of cannibal ducks?" Jem asked
"They ate it to," Will reminisced "blood thirsty little beasts. Never trust a duck"
"Hunger," said Jem "were you thinking about blood?"
"No." Tess replied
"Were you thinking about eating me?" Will Inquired.
"No!"
"No one would blame you." said Jem, "he's very annoying."
" I never liked it much- seemed like so much nonsense."
"There's plenty of sense in nonsense sometimes if you choose to look for it."
"A little girl robbed you?"
"Actually she wasn't a little girl at all, as it turns out, but a midget in a dress with a penchant for violence who goes by the name of six-fingered Nigel"
